Hundreds of eager participants caught the spirit and splashed through the rain at the 17th annual 8K Classic Feb. 24, afterwards taking over Brea Mall’s north parking garage for live entertainment, a great sponsor expo and “OC’s finest finish line” with food from Brea’s best restaurants. Pre-race-day registration ran ahead of past years, with the final number of entries topping 1800 despite multi-day weather predictions of “steady showers all morning.”
Our sincere thanks to all – racers, volunteers, sponsors and other enthusiasts --- for their support and assistance to 8K ‘08.
